Two men, including the brother of professional wrestler Dolph Ziggler, pleaded guilty Friday in the 2016 killing of a Marine Corps veteran during a botched drug robbery at a Cleveland hotel. Donald Nemeth, 30, and Jack King, 52, pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter, aggravated robbery and kidnapping charges in the Jan. 23, 2016 slaying of Joshua Mascol at the University Hotel and Suites on Euclid Avenue.
Judge Shannon Gallagher will sentence both men Aug. 28 in Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Court. Nemeth was ordered to wear an ankle monitor on home detention until his sentencing. Nemeth and King were set to stand trial Monday on charges including aggravated murder. Both faced possible sentences of life in prison if convicted. Cuyahoga County prosecutors had asked the judge to bar Nemeth's lawyers from mentioning his brother Nicholas Nemeth, a two-time WWE World Heavyweight champion known by the ring name Dolph Ziggler, during a trial. The relationship was irrelevant to the case, and bringing it up would draw jurors' focus away from the evidence, Assistant Cuyahoga County Prosecutor Zachary Humphrey argued. Lawyers for Donald Nemeth and King also asked for separate trials, because they blamed each other in statements to investigators. Defense attorneys argued they could not adequately defend themselves if they were prosecuted together. Is this why the PWB's favorite WWE Superstar has been low key? |

What does his family relationship have to do with his Wrestling Career? If WWE is truly bothered by it they'll just rarely use him and not renew his contract. They haven't fired Tamina or Xavier and Paige so I think Ziggler is safe. |

People here want to bury Hogan for using the N word but want Benoit in the hall of fame. I'm far from the worst as far as comparisons. But my point is WWE hates bad publicity but doesn't seem to care if you're simply related to them. Or at least doesn't care enough to fire you or remove you asap. They might let your contract run out and suddenly don't have any interest in you but so far all the people in my original post are related to someone who did something or were the victims of leak that was never supposed to get out but they're all still employed. So either they like them or they're just waiting out the contracts. |
