Yeah, it's definitely unlikely a ratings thing...the WWE doesn't need people watching every hour of every day....they just need people subscribing every month for $9.99. It's not like they're selling ad space.
It is either to please workers that hate having to wait for the entire show to be over or because they don't want smarks getting worked up over things said on the show anymore.

Maybe the workers didn't want to have to stay past 11 because of 205 live? Unless Talking Smack is taped during it. It is taped during 205. A lot of times you can hear the wrestlers themes playing in the background while TS is going on. This sucks though. It was the most exciting part of Tuesday's shows. Guess no point in sticking around for 205 Live anymore.

This doesn't make sense to me. It can't have costed that much more, and it's more original programming for you. Every person on the roster talks about how happy they are to be on it and they have fun doing it.
Even if ratings are down, it's likely the result of putting it an hour after SmackDown ends instead of directly after. What they always should've done is have 205 Live on Thursday to spread out your wrestling because having that much wrestling in two nights (sometimes three with PPVs) is absolutely absurd.

What the hell Talking Smack was great and gave us so many good and memorable moments. This is stupid. Nonsense like this makes me want to cancel the network, because there was already a drought of original programming as was promised, and now what few good original shows they have they cancel.

Yeah I don't buy a lot of these reasons. Ratings is nonsense. They don't sell ad space. And frankly I just don't buy that it didn't perform well compared to obvious s*** like 205 Live.
The show doesn't take any money to produce, they're already at the arena, there's already a set, the cameras are all already there. It's literally the most efficient type of program you could film. The talent staying late doesn't make sense. If so it would be the first time in history WWE decided to change something because it inconvenienced talent. They have to wake up at 4am for local TV news shows but don't need to stick around an extra half hour? Plus the talent clearly would be able to understand the benefit of a show like Talking Smack. Just last week, Corbin mentioned on Jericho's podcast that the show helped people in the company realize he can talk and now he has mic freedom. I think they're either unhappy with people going off-script or wanted to "even things out" since Raw doesn't have a cool/fun/entertaining show and Smackdown does. Even though Raw is still an hour longer than Smackdown and can't seem to manage to be consistently more entertaining.
And everything I say is calculated appropriated written and arranged in Feng Shui.

WWE finally makes something that's actually awesome, then they arbitrarily decide to take it away for no reason. Seriously, why the f*** do I even bother with this product anymore? I must be a closet masochist.

I'm shocked the show lasted as long as it did given some of the things that were said on the show and how WWE seems to require strict control over every word said and action performed on their shows. And yeah, this is going to do nothing but make Smackdown even worse. All of the best promos and characterization came from Talking Smack, not the overly-scripted and poorly-written main show.

Hell put 205 taped with NXT and you'd do so much better.she got screwed up by religion. she got screwed by soccer players. she got high for the first time in the camps down by the banks of the mississippi river.That's pretty lame. It basically revitalized The Miz's career, and really helped people (Corbin immediately comes to mind) play their role without need for a script. Renee and Daniel were amazing hosts, and I loved all the interactions. I can't think of one negative thing about the show.

I like girls, but now it's about justice.How much money did it even really cost to put on Talking Smack? It was just the talent you already pay cutting promos in an area you already rented out using the video equipment and personnel you already employ for half an hour once a week.
I'm pretty sure cutting Brock to 3 matches a year and dropping his salary to $6 million from $8 million would save more money.they didn't tell daniel bryan either,he found out through max landis' petition
