And I think I'm the only one who feels this way. So we all know Vince is a mother fucking miserly cheapskate. We know he don't wanna pay his workers the money they all deserve and he wants them to die for their money. It's a good thing Aitch ain't as greedy. Anyway, I'm sure yall heard Rock speak about his 7 Bucks story all the time. About when he started all he had was 7 bucks in his pockets, about how poor he was, about how he got evicted out his apartment, about how he slept on thrown away mattresses, about his dad working his ass off to feed Rock and his mom. Every time I hear this story I'm just thinking it's Rock throwing shade at Vince for being the greedy cheap fuck that he is. If Vince paid Rock's dad enough money Rock would have never been so damn poor.

Vince was one of the few promoters at the time to pay talent at all. Gagne ran off with guys' checks, Watts refused to pay folks, etc.
He was a crook, but the least crooked in terms of talent getting paid in the mafia circus that is pro wrestling. |
