Trying to flip this as anything to do with a race aspect is fucking absurd. Sweden screwed up and is paying the price. Trump’s hardline on this is the smartest thing he is doing. Instead of being grateful to have a safe place the refugees are acting like they are owed jobs and all the rights of Swedish citizens. This is the danger of open borders literally playing out. |

I'm conflicted on stuff like this. On one hand I hate how certain folk exaggerate the migrant problem and make all of them out to be inhuman monsters. On the other hand I hate how many of my fellow liberals/leftists/progressives just go:
 when evidence of non-assimilating/extremist migrants is shown and act like the problem is minuscule and almost never happens at all and that people from certain countries/cultures not assimilating and promoting extremism aren't that big of a problem.

Poverty and poor education were my primary points but your selective reading choosing to ignore that and focus solely on the racial aspect. Which if you were fleeing from one country to another country as a refugee and the the dominant race there was then having a surge in nationalists that want you out of their country, that sure wouldn't help with the already existing tensions and issues there. But I wasn't focusing on race to begin with, I'm saying people should have access to the essentials in life and access to quality education. Poverty and poor education breeds crime, it also breeds more poverty and more poor education, thus breeding more crime. That isn't an issue of nationality, it's a humanist issue. |

These migrants were intelligent enough to leave for a better country. To say that it is poverty and a lack of education is an insult to the poor and uneducated people who don't behave this way when they're guests in another country. What's happening is that there's an unwillingness to integrate into Sweden's culture, hence the no go zones and situations like these. The immigration police should've done a better job of vetting before letting people in.

Cal12 is 100% correct. People in Sweden (who are very sweet and nice people in general) decided to let refugees in since they wanted to help them. Unfortunately, many of these refugees are criminals and / or are violent and ungrateful and have decided to lash out at the very people that helped them. It's really a fucked up situation which seems like it has fucked over Sweden since trying to get rid of these people will be next to impossible. It's easy to invite them in, but incredibly difficult to kick them out. Damn shame considering how beautiful most of Sweden is. It's required by law to be 20 for a woman and 22 for a man to be married in China. But that doesn't take into account for how many times that's simply ignored and couples then register once they are of age. There's also a huge issue of young Chinese men and women marrying in their teens, having children, then leaving them with their grandparents to go find work in cities.

Bullshit. What happened here was Sweden stupidly opened their borders like they were fucking Ellis Island without considering any of the represcussions of taking in thousands of refugees from war torn countries without having the capacity to deal with them. Trying to flip this as anything to do with a race aspect is fucking absurd. Sweden screwed up and is paying the price. Trump’s hardline on this is the smartest thing he is doing. Instead of being grateful to have a safe place the refugees are acting like they are owed jobs and all the rights of Swedish citizens.

Cal12 is 100% correct. People in Sweden (who are very sweet and nice people in general) decided to let refugees in since they wanted to help them. Unfortunately, many of these refugees are criminals and / or are violent and ungrateful and have decided to lash out at the very people that helped them. It's really a fucked up situation which seems like it has fucked over Sweden since trying to get rid of these people will be next to impossible. It's easy to invite them in, but incredibly difficult to kick them out. Damn shame considering how beautiful most of Sweden is. Now it's slowly being torn apart.
I'm not even really just speaking about refugees in general, I'm talking about human nature and what really everyone deserves as a basic human right in the modern world. Shelter, food, clean water, clothes, an education, and basic health care.
When you're bringing in poor, uneducated people to an area, regardless of their race or national culture, there will be increased crime. Let alone refugees who are likely refugees because they weren't exactly being exposed to the best environment they're fleeing from....
I'm not saying any of this makes crime okay, I'm simply stating that poverty + poor education = more crime, and that having racial tensions on top of that.
If you're going to bring an influx of people from a poor, uneducated, and violent area they're having to flee from, into a place that's not that, you're going to have to expect an increase in crime rate and should really try to tread lightly not biting off more than you can chew when taking in refugees.
When there's a valid refugee crisis that's a time where I think some sort of coordination through something that's generally useless like the UN could be helpful for making sure countries that are able to take on a reasonable load that they can properly accommodate, and get worked into some forms of education or job training if necessary to integrate them into society on that level. The idea being that you've helped with a human rights crisis by handling refugees, and that giving them a foundation like that would then basically be a ROI if you want to see it from that type of perspective. Once you integrate them into society like that and give them the means to function well in that society it'll come back around in terms of tax dollars and an all around improvement for future generations.
And I'm not taking about giving refugees that special treatment, I think that's what s first world nation should offer their citizens. Which I think is achievable with the right level of government efficiency and management. But that's ultimately where the biggest issue lies.

It's a huge mess they have on their hands. According to this map below (and a few other maps I saw) there are about 55 No-Go Zones occupied by immigrant gangs. The Swedish army has A LOT of work to do:
