Here in #WWENashville watching Alexa Vs Bayley... Then Sasha and Nia.. Love watching others get more opportunities that I never get! Cool.
There are a few more tweets, but this is probably the one that lead to her getting squashed tonight. Not really sure if I agree with her not getting any opportunities though. It sucks for her that she got injured a couple times and was out for awhile, but that whole Emmalina thing was something she could have run with, but it turned into a giant joke after months of build up. Is the company really gonna give someone another chance so soon when their last one was a complete waste? |

She should just keep complaining. Either the WWE will give her more angles or they will eventually release her and she can go work somewhere else. Believe it or not, some people aren't just satisfied with being in the WWE.
And it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out what to do with Emma. She doesn't need to be in the title scene to be relevant. She has her past relationship with Emma, who is currently with Mickie James. Just create a storyline off that and give it a little time on Raw to properly be featured. It would do good for all the women involved. Instead, you had a match on Main Event last week or the week before where Emma lost to Mickie and the storyline didn't really go anywhere.

I mean, technically she got her wish and got an opportunity at the very least. I'd say that getting beat in a squash is a step up from weeks of not being on TV. She absolutely deserves better, though. I think she has talent in the ring and can work the mic.

What was so much worse about this match than her "appearance" during the gauntlet match a couple weeks ago where Nia took her out in less than half the time? At least she got some offence in this one.

And plenty of people would love that chance because they would expect it to actually be a CHANCE....an opportunity.....a lot of people have dreams, but once they get there, they find out it is not what they expected and lose interest.....I can't blame Emma for not liking how she is being treated. I am sure many young women watch the WWE and fall in love with the Trishes and the Litas. But they don't notice the Katie Leas and the Jillians. And the irony is that the whole women's revolution started because of #GiveDivasAChance making the WWE look like shit. And that got started after a short diva tag match where Emma jobbed in a pathetic manner. You would think she should be one of the focal points. She has never held a title in either NXT nor the main roster.

Let's keep in mind that it was Sasha Banks that re-injured Emma after she returned by being reckless and hurrying her move.
But Raw is terrible for Divas. They only use three or four at a time. Like, before it was just Nia, Charlotte, Bayley, and Sasha. And now it's the same, just replace Charlotte with Alexa. They just don't do anything else with any other female. Remember that Gauntlet match? Literally every other woman looked like absolute garbage except for Nia and Sasha, predictably. On Smackdown, they at least give each woman purpose. Like, I don't understand why you need to have Nia kill every single other woman on the roster, when everyone already knows she's a big strong tuff gurl. No reason why you can't let the other girls look competitive by facing each other. Because man. Emma has gotten the raw deal literally her entire career. Do you blame her for being so frustrated?

Both brands mismanage the women in different ways. With Raw, they fail to properly utilize multiple women at the same time. Smackdown's idea of utilizing multiple women properly is to toss all or almost all in the same match. Four PPVs in a row with Smackdown having multi-women matches is just ridiculous. They just juggle women around and that is not how you build and feature stars.
They need to develop better secondary storylines. Both brands do. You don't need to be chasing after a title or a briefcase to have a feud or angle. But the writers are just extremely lazy, even them Smackdown writer people give too much credit to. It doesn't take much creativity to toss 5 or 6 women into the same match and have them just wrestle each other for weeks prior to the PPV clusterfuck. There's no good storyline there. And the Ellsworth debacle is not a good story.

"It was all a stupidly contrived trap to trick the face team which makes NO GODDAMN SENSE" Emma continues to job and do nothing after. Then you got Nia crying over twitter like Emma but she's fine because, connections to The Rock and all. WWE sucks.

So... so... Emma got buried and it's like... she wasn't buried to the point where... I mean... we know that Vince likes to play favorites with talent but... he does and he doesn't... like... if we go back to the Attitude Era... certain guys were... lets just say certain guys were... given preferential treatment... but there were a few who sort of... stayed in the back and talked about it... but it wasn't like... it wasn't like Vince saw them and said something... and if he did... well you didn't really hear about it... but there were some things said... and I don't know if he did or didn't say them... but it's fair to say that it caught steam in the late 90's... and if we look back at the 80's like... Vince wasn't really... well he was... but he didn't commit to it... but he was a great businessman... I wouldn't say he was terrible... but there were terrible moments... so it was like... something happened... but I don't know what happened exactly... but it was something bad... and I knew they were pissed at him but...

I agree the multiwomen matches have been a bit too much lately, but it looks like they're headed in the direction of Becky/Charlotte vs Tamina/Lana and Naomi vs Nattie, which is so many more times entertaining than the trash they have on Raw. Keep in mind that before the multiwomen match hell, they were doing an awesome job with having multiple storylines for the women. I think they're headed back to that now.

SDL has always been better for the women. Emma and Summer should get moved there. Summer can manage Breezango while Emma could use a fresh start in a women's division where more opportunities are given. Raw sucks unless you are one of the chosen women booking decides to focus on. SDL for the most part utilizes all of their women. Emma is too talented to just go to waste as nothing more than a jobber.

And remember when Becky Lynch was the first SD Women's Champ? She has not done anything important since. If Emma just wants to appear every week, even in overrated segments featuring every female wrestler (and Lana), then Smackdown would be good for her.

Well the alternative is being in shit segments only once every couple of weeks on Raw and looking absolutely terrible in each of them so I'm sure she would gladly take Smackdown appearances. And it's refreshing that Charlotte isn't dominating the Smackdown scene since she was at the top for what seemed like years on Raw and before that. It's refreshing and gives other people a chance, instead of them just seeing Bliss work well on Smackdown and them shoving her down everyone's throats on Raw again.
