bad promos, bad matches, and an overly forced anti-USA gimmick in 2017.
Now were getting a title match no one is interested in seeing because Cena vs Nakamura will most likely outclass whatever is going to happen at Summerslam. Only the Singh brothers and their insane bumping is making this slightly watchable. just sayin.

Tbh, WWE has done a good job of making him feel like a star. I just don't think Mahal is talented enough to make it work on his end.

Jinder's booking is quickly losing my interest, and I was a huge supporter of the whole thing to start. He has been booked like a joke, and their one chance to show that he could hang with the ME talent they used to let Randy beat the fuck out of 3 guys and nosell the Cobra Clutch entirely.
They have no idea what they are doing and need to just take the belt off of him. This could have been great, but I would rather have another Cena or Orton run than this.

I just wish he was a little more louder in his promos. Im liking Mahal as champ (just like how I Liked JBL as champ because it was something completely unexpected yet captivating) but cutting a promo to an entire arena in a low, monotone voice kills it for me.

The problem with Jinders run so far has been Orton. Nothing against Orton, but nobody cares if he wins the title, it wouldn't mean anything. And because of that, it makes it impossible for Jinder to get any heat. Especially with Orton coming off that terrible Bray Wyatt feud. It's just a bad matchup. Jinder needs to go against someone like Styles, great in the ring, the crowd loves him and wants to see him win, and he's smaller than Jinder, which makes Jinder look more impressive.

The only reason Mahal is Champ is to bring in the Indian viewers and Network subscribers, if they were planning to increase the number of viewers in say, Australia, they'd have an Australian WWE Champion, or if they wanted to boost the Japanese numbers, Shinsuke Nakamura would be Champ, and Asuka would be the main roster Women's Champ.

That was an insult to Diesel, honestly. JBL was much worse. If Cena wins and we get Cena/Jinder at SummerSlam, that match alone will be far more intriguing than every single thing JBL did.

JBL's push was as "out of nowhere" as Mark Henry's push.
It isn't uncommon for tenures vets to get big pushes especialy when they are already well known. |

JBL sucks.
He was good in the Acolytes/APA as the straight man to Ron Simmons, but on his own, he does 2 moves and has limited mic skills IMHO, but the lack of mic skills is not totally his fault, Texans are known to talk funny anyway. And his current commentary is one of the many reasons I record Raw every week so I can fast forward through the rubbish bits.
