Depends on the wrestler.
I Kurt Angle towards the start of his TNA run who's supposedly 6'0''. I'm 6'1'' and I was roughly 4 inches taller than him. Enzo's supposedly 5'11'', but he's taller than Kurt when he stands to him. Who knows with neck injuries though. On the other side, Kassius Ohno is billed at 6'4'', and I've met him too. I'd say it's legit. So possibly not at all. Possibly a little bit.

It changes randomly and sometimes it’s true sometimes it isn’t. I recall clearly that Orton around when he debuted was listed at 6’6 and Batista was listed at 6’5. We all know that’s not true. They also used to list Triple H at 6’4” 265 pounds but Randy Orton who is legitimately 6’4 is taller than triple h. Brock used to be listed at like 6’5 too but now they use his real height. Bottom line is I think the days of greatly exaggerating height and weight is over but they definitely occasionally still do for new comers.

i always thought the heights and weights were based on the character rather than the portrayer
kane and Undertaker and Big Show may not be 7', but they're working as these titanic destroyers who you want to be perceived as unique and un-human as possible, so you sell them as 300lb 7 footers. and in the old world where these guys were never pictured outside of production, it was an easy sell. |

Usually about 2 inches and 20 or so pounds with the smaller guys. It was weird though when they did the CWC; I think they used real weights for that.
But Daniel Bryan is a good example as they've always said he's 5'10 even though in interviews he says he's 5'8. I personally think that smaller and bigger guys are the ones who get their heights bumped up. I doubt Finn Balor is actually 5'11, but I'd say Seth is a legit 6'2. Big guys like Kane and Undertaker always had exaggerated heights. Also, Triple H was always billed as 6'4 but he was the same height if not shorter than Seth. Ziggler definitely isn't 6' and I'd be shocked if Jericho was anything over 5'9.

They typically over bill height by 2-3 inches to most anyone under 6'4 unless they want to sell you as a giant. Although they accurately bill some like Cena who is 6'0.5. Sami Zayn's 6'1 listing is legit or VERY close. He's very obviously at least 6 feet tall as he's never dwarfed by most the taller guys unless they're over 6'4.
Ones I know off the top of my head: - They billed CM Punk as 6'1 when he's clearly more 5'11 - Jericho has gotten billed as 6 foot when he's between 5'9 and 5'10 although Jericho wears huge lifts - AJ Styles got billed as 5'11 when he's the same height as Jericho - Kevin Owens has been billed as 6'0 despite being 5'9 or so - Ziggler has had his height changed constantly and he's been between 5'11-6'1 and is somewhere between 5'9 and 5'11 - Shawn Michales got billed as high as 6'1 when he's 5'10 - Enzo Claimed 5'11 when he's somewhere between 5'7 and 5'9 - Kurt Angle lost a lot of height due to his neck injuries. His peak height was certainly 5'10 and maybe a little over but these days he's more like 5'8. - Ambrose has been billed as high as 6'4 when he's about 6'0. - Seth Rollins I believe has been billed as 6'2 which is close as he's at least 6'1. - Roman Reigns has been billed as 6'4 when he's more 6'2 - Batista has been billed as 6'5 and though he clearly lost height over the years, his peak was probably 6'3.5 - The Rock has claimed 6'5 but he's not taller than legit 6'4 Orton and is closer to 6'3. Same with Edge. - Kane is billed as 7'0 but he wears huge lifts and is 6'7.5 which is about the same for Big Cass - Nia Jax is billed as 6'0 but is basically the same height as 5'10 Charlotte - Paige is billed as 5'8 but is 5'5 - Rey Mysterio was billed as 5'6 but is like 5'2 - Triple H has claimed 6'4 but is more 6'2 - Daniel Bryan has been billed as 5'10 but is around 5'8 - Vince lost a LOT of height. He used to be about 6'2 just like Shane but is more 5'11 today. - Finn Balor gets billed as 5'11 but is more 5'9

He's noticeably taller than the overwhelming majority of cruiserweights and is more or less the same overall size as Seth Rollins. |

I stood pretty close to John Cena & Lita during WM 19 Fan Axxess.
With shoes on I'm 5' 11. Cena looked maybe an inch taller. Lita was about as tall as my chest (maybe 5')

Honestly, I could tell from TV that Trish and Mickie are both shorter than billed
(though Mickie's isn't as bad as Trish's who I believe was at one point billed at a laughable 5'6") What's really curious is the 5'8" Amazing Kong occasionally being billed at 6'0" (though more consistently, 5'11"). It's one of those things that you don't think on since there aren't many wrestling women walking around at 5'8" anyway but since she's so much heavier, you just sort of roll with her exaggerated height "making sense." It also helps that she DOES wear lifts in her boots to make her already good height even greater. |

Torrie also always looked a bit bigger than 5'7 so I just go with 5'8 for her which is most likely her true height. Awesome Kong's real height is 5'9 but she wears lifts to be anywhere from 5'11 to over that. I've noticed that 5'8 is typically where women peak height wise in wrestling which I find funny since you would expect wrestling to have the same emphasis on size for women like they do for men but, they instead disregard it entirely for them and most female wrestlers struggle to even be average height. That being said WWE has a number of women 5'8 and over employed currently: Charlotte (5'10), Summer Rae (5'10), Nia Jax (5'10), Alicia Fox (5'9), Billie (5'8), Tamina (5'8). Plus Lana, Peyton Royce and the recently released Eva Marie aren't too far away all being 5'7.

I still remember when they did the tale of the tape for Rollins and Reigns having one of their first big matches and they had Reigns as like 6'5 275 lbs and Rollins as 6'2 215 or something, but when they got in the ring, they looked almost the same height. Reigns had a tad more muscle, but not 60 lbs.

They usually add 3" or so in height. Weight is all over the place. Used to be an average sized worker was 250 give or take 20 lbs.

'80s Andre had shrunk a few inches due to failing health.
Hogan was billed at 6' 8" IIRC. I forgot that I also saw Trish playing HCTP at the same Axxess. She was really tiny. Still kinda annoyed that the ATM inside the venue wasn't working (I forgot cash). Cause you could get your picture taken with several wrestlers if you had cash. Including Eddie & Chavo, Hurricane, Teddy Long & Rodney Mack, and all 3 members of FBI (Nunzio, Johhny Stambolli, & Chuck Pullumbo).

In reality, I was 6'3" and 260 lbs
false though it was, I found it amusingI know Xaviar Woods is billed at 5' 11", but I am 5' 10" and I am probably a good 2 - 3 inches taller then him. His weight is probably accurate though, he had a good 80lbs of muscle on me.I am a senior software engineer.
