Wow 80/80, what an honour.
Anyway, WWE have issued their second cease and desist this week. This time to Will Ospreay for his Paw is War (fair) and for his Kitty Style (unfair) T-shirts. I get defending your own trademarks but Strong Style has been an NJPW marketing gimmick for decades. Can't wait to see the people who never admit when WWE are wrong defend this! |

What could they even claim for kitty style? The only kitty I could think of is Lawlers exwife or girlfriend or whoever that broad was.

The legality is IRRELEVANT to my topic about the ETHICS of WWE.
And Ospreay spends more time making new T-shirt designs than actually wrestling so he's not going to be too worried. It's still ridiculous that WWE are issuing C&Ds for other people's creativity. I've cancelled my WWE Network prescription and cited this as the reason for cancelling. |
