His feud with Seth in 2014 is literally my favorite feud in WWE since I started watching again in 2013 after stopping in 2009. I feel like they constantly shit the bed on booking with Dean. Like, he has so much potential to be a great character, but they're just intent on making him "wacky flailng cartoon character guy" instead of making him something better.

Seth is generally the most well liked babyface on RAW (atm) when it comes to the live crowd. Dean needs a heel turn more than he needs this imo, as he's done as much as he can in his current "wacky" babyface role.

I agree as much as people hate it they are invested in a Roman match and angle to see what happens. Its like how they say they wont watch the match yet they do and the board gets flooded in every match he is in. they just need to make all 3 heels.

Forced is the right word. And it's wasted for that kind of deal which is stupid... They should wait for say...Bullet club to be signed and then you bring them back when Bullet Club reigns supreme...then WWE style dismantle it with the Shield...AT LEAST would make sense WWE wise. but this... It's laughable.

It's super forced and the intent is really obvious for sure. Gonna be funny if he still gets booed. I used to be a huge Dean mark but they made me become completely antipathetic towards him with the bad booking and mishandling of his character. He should've been like Jon Moxley rather than the crappy flanderized version he became in today's product. Even Shield Dean was closer to Moxley than this current cartoon rendition. It's a shame. He doesn't need to do CZW stuff to be Moxley either... Check his epic feud with Regal from FCW.

It was Ambrose for like the first year and a half, Reigns for like six months, and then Rollins during their face run right up at the end. The Rollins part was really just them setting up for the betrayal, and they acted like it was obvious that Rollins was in charge the whole time.

Sheamus and Cesaro are one of the best parts of Raw and one of the best thrown together tag teams right up there with Jerishow, rvd and Kane, Booker t and rvd, Kane and xpac.
7/10 for me means it wasn't really bad or really good, but resting somewhere in the middle. -hulkhogan1

It's definitely annoying that they're mainly doing this in hopes of getting people to stop booing Roman so that they can justify pushing him as the "undisputed top guy" into WM where he'll beat Brock for the belt. It's not going to work. WWE has jumped through so many hoops trying to stop the boos, and none of it has worked. I don't understand why they think "there's still a way!". No, there isn't. Will people cheer for the Shield as a collective? Absolutely. But I wouldn't be shocked if Roman still gets booed when he tags in and while he's working the match. And once this little reunion is done, Roman will go back to getting mixed and negative reactions, because people still don't want him to get the "Cena" booking.
As for the timing, I do kind of agree that this doesn't seem like the best use of a Shield reunion. No offense to Miz, nor Sheamus and Cesaro; all are good workers doing pretty solid work right now. But this doesn't feel like a big enough reason to put the Shield back together. Ideally, they should come back together for a much bigger, better reason. As it is, it's basically "Hey, the guys we're feuding with helped the guy you're feuding with attack you. Wanna fight'em all together?". Which is fine for a typical filler tag match or program. But that being the foundation for a Shield reunion? Blah.

By the way what the hell is AJ doing nowadays anyway? And who are the Raw tag team champions? Also for the TC WWE threw away Daniel Bryan's return, a Royal Rumble, 3 Wrestlemania Main events, and Undertaker's retirement match. Why does this newest waste surprise you?

AJ is U.S. Champ on Smackdown, Dean and Seth are tag champs. I do have to give them props for that locker room segment though. WWE so rarely does restraint and subtlety that when it happens it really sticks out.

Haven't viewership numbers been steadily declining for years now, indicating even the people watching at home are less enthusiastic about the product? The thing is, nobody can really say that Roman is doing big business for the company, nor can any major successes be directly credited to him. He apparently moves merch, most likely to kids and women, but beyond that, it's not like Roman is the big megastar WWE wants people to believe he is. The problem is that Vince is very much a "put all the eggs in one basket" kind of thinker. He wants company revenue to generally be stable, and then he wants one singular, company-manufactured "merch mover" at the top. At this point, it's quite evident that Vince doesn't truly care about the product, nor about making something that appeals to the audience. He just wants stability and consistency, and he wants to coast on that. And admittedly, his approach to the business allows him to comfortably coast. It's just frustrating to be one of the audience members that Vince overlooks and goes "Yeah, whatever, you're going to watch no matter what I do, so bitch all you want and give me your damn money".
