http://wrestling-edge.com/know-undertaker-afraid-cucumbers/
The Undertaker is one of the most iconic figures in pro wrestling history. His presence alone has struck fear in the hearts of his enemies while leaving a trail of broken bodies and championship runs behind him. You don't even need to bring up The Undertaker's incredible WrestleMania record in order to prove he's a superior athlete. But Bruce Prichard revealed during the episode about Owen Hart on his podcast Something To Wrestle With that The Undertaker was actually afraid of something more than others might have been afraid of him. It turns out The Undertaker is afraid of cucumbers. That sounds odd, but it's totally true. Prichard discussed how Owen Hart used to implement his legendary pranking ability to give The Undertaker some grief about his fear of the common vegetable. Prichard said Owen would do things like put cucumbers in the bottom of Taker's glass of tea so he would drink his beverage not realizing what was sitting at the bottom of his glass. But when The Undertaker finally got to the bottom and saw the cucumbers much like in the ring when you were facing The Dead Man in a match, there would be hell to pay. Owen Hart would also place cucumbers inside The Undertaker's boots so when he took his boot off after a long match he would find a smushed-up remainder of something that terrified him. Owen would also apparently hid cucumbers inside The Undertaker's iconic hat as well. But one of the best stories was when Owen Hart and Taker were in the ring. While they were in a headlock, Owen fished a handful of cut-up cucumber pieces out of his tights and put them in Taker's face. The Undertaker apparently didn't want to break character for an instant, but he still scrambled out of the ring in order escape the veggie he greatly feared.
Currently have Saxon on Ignore. The PWB looks much better that way.

Can The Hardy's finally get their gimmick now?

- Can The Hardy's finally get their gimmick now?
Or sometime soon?
It’s been a while since “TNA is on its last legs” stories were weekly or even daily features of sites like Cageside Seats. They’re back! The news yesterday that Jeff Jarrett would be taking an ‘indefinite leave of absence’ from his recently announced post as head of creative kicked started the rumor mill. Next came word that Anthem Entertainment, which just purchased the promotion formerly known as TNA earlier this year, had yet to finalize the merger with Jarrett’s Global Force Wrestling - despite relabeling Impact Wrestling and elements of the show with the GFW name. The alleged issues between Jarrett and Ed Nordholm, the Anthem executive who’s running Impact, may have put the merger in jeopardy and could cause yet another rebranding. That is, if Anthem still owns the promotion. Justin Barrasso’s new column for SI.com reports: “GFW is hemorrhaging funds, and sources close to the situation have confirmed that Anthem is ready to withdraw itself from the wrestling industry and sell GFW. Anthem even needed to gut the Fight Network in order to finance GFW.” A potential exit by Canada-based Anthem again brings up the question of potential buyers. Impact’s tape library, which includes matches and shows featuring names like Sting, Kurt Angle, AJ Styles, Samoa Joe and others, is a valuable commodity which has reportedly drawn offers from WWE in the past. Barrasso’s piece also mentions that Impact producer John Gaburick is extremely close with Vince McMahon confidant, WWE Executive Vice-President of Television Production Kevin Dunn - insinuating they could facilitate a deal. This would obviously greatly benefit The Hardys, who have been involved in a very public battle over ownership of the “Broken” gimmick they popularized while under contract to TNA. Other potential suitors include Ring of Honor, which would solidify their place as the second biggest U.S. wrestling company, or even Billy Corgan. The Smashing Pumpkins founder lost a battle to assume control of TNA in late 2016, and has since bought some rights to the National Wrestling Alliance name, but what exactly he owns and what he plans to do with it is not clear. Unfortunately, the people most affected are talent and fans. Many of the wrestlers working on Impact just got out from under months of uncertainty, and while there are no reports of missed payments as there were under Dixie Carter’s ownership, there were said to be cost-cutting measures taken at the August tapings. And viewers who’ve stuck with Impact through numerous reboots have to again be wondering if it’s worth investing more time following storylines which could change or end based on ownership. At least we’ll seemingly always have the “TNA Death Watch”, a storyline that never ends. https://www.cagesideseats.com/impact-wrestling/2017/9/6/16261556/anthem-already-looking-get-out-wrestling-business-gfw-hemorrhaging-funds

With how micro managed they'll be by the 'writers' do you even want the Broken Hardys at this point?
Keep in mind these are the idiots that saw a woman with the most violent variation of armbar I've ever seen that Chris Jeriocho learned it for a thousand and two holds went yeah that girl is too nice to use a kendo stick... after she beat the crap out an ECW original with one.

what can I say? It happened in TNA, it's like that new kid that tells you how awesome his old school was. Nobody really cares. It never held my attention for 3 consecutive weeks. TNA is where they go when they couldn't make it in the wwe or wanna feel like the top dog because at one point they were under the payroll of Vince McMahon.

I just hope that this so called sell out will force some other wrestlers out of TNA and finally into NXT. I really would like to see Decay reform and fight Sanity, and maybe have ODB finally show up on NXT. I get that she is getting older, but she is still the prize "knockout" that company has right now.

Matt has already announced the arrival of the "Awoken Hardy's."

Eh. To be honest, we see this cycle of "TNA is dying! Never mind, something happened at the last moment to keep it going!" reporting so many times that it's gotten tiring. In my personal opinion, I'm baffled how TNA/ GFW can still possibly exist, and why anyone has thought it's been a good investment of time, money, and resources to keep it propped up this long. It quite honestly should have died long ago.
But, the reality is, for whatever reason, someone always manages to swoop in and help carry the company for at least another 6-12 months. s***, I wouldn't be surprised if Dixie Carter convinces her family to reinvest and ends up back in control again.

This was my thoughts https://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/218-pro-wrestling-wwe/75751417 The problem with that thought is that Jeff was really the only one that had a career before Matt "found" himself. Matt tried to have a career numerous times, and pretty much failed at all attempts. Now, when he became broken, finally people were talking about Matt Hardy and not Jeff. So while I can appreciate the thought of its an old gimmick and they are more of a legacy act now, it would be a shame to not even attempt it under a massive audience if they were allowed. |

Total bulls*** article. GFW just announced a streaming service and TV deals in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. All this sounds like is an article written by a WWE shill.
Anthem knew what they bought when it was sold to them. They know the brand will take time to restore its name and grow. They are not going to give up after 6 months of ownership.

Honestly, I tried watching TNA when they went on Mondays and watched a couple segments of the Broken gimmick and all I can say is...
Who cares? I may be missing something huge and if I am, please give me a couple suggestions to check out but I saw nothing special or spectacular from this gimmick. It gave me the same feeling the House of Horros match did. That feeling was "Ok. This isn't wrestling" Again, I don't see why there is such a clamor or a following for it other than to be smarks (I hate that term but I really do think it fits here)

If I was the E, I'd buy it and rehash the invasion storyline. It'd make more sense for E people to switch sides like Joe and AJ. They can rehash the whose side is he on also. REHASH EVERYTHING

lol I remember the end to that iron man match. Great match. Just not nearly so violent as to remember it as a notable armbar, even with the reminder
