http://m.sportskeeda.com/wwe/from-the-wwe-rumour-mill-wwe-working-for-huge-undertaker-match-at-survivor-series. I pray it's only just a rumour. First of Undertaker should stop stressing his hips, secondly wth did John Cena do to the wwe that they plan for him to lose two huge matches in a row?
It ain't over till it's over, so until then i'm gonna take my time in finishing you off!!!

Undertaker should win. Cena has lost to too many people this year, may as well keep it going.

Sheesh Taker's not retired but they've been indirectly saying he was for half a year. That conditions people to feel sorry and not take him seriously when he returns.

WWE doesn't have a clue anymore. This is pathetic at this point.

Holy s*** they cannot be serious. The match would be 100x worse than Reigns/Taker

I could see this happening, but in my head that means Roman beats Cena. Retiring Taker is pretty much the only feat that Roman refers to, so he'll need something new to say if Taker comes back.
The_MCX 3 days ago#8
They'll do Taker without the deadman gimmick because it was only the deadman that technically retired.

They'd do that.

Funny thing is, if his hip really prevents him of wrestling adequately and they had to do a squash, it don't would be the first time at Survivor Series. In 2003 Taker brutalized Vince around without using any wrestling moves before Kane buried Taker alive.

lol really? Taker literally put his jacket and hat back on after his match at WM so he could take it off again to "retire."

So's Terry Funk and hes unretired. For these guys doing this is the only thing they know, that's why Bryan's acting as he is right now.

The Triple H and Punk matches were great.
A garbage pod!? It's a smegging garbage pod!
If he returns as the dead man then all of those "thank you taker" shirts (that I bought damnit) would be pointless. Best case scenario is team undertaker (as biker) vs team cena at survivor series.

Yeah the undertaker retired.

It's sportskeeda reporting. I don't trust them at all. When they're right they're getting it from someone else, but whenever a story breaks with them it's almost always BS.
Can't wait for John Cena to open a can of whoops ass on The Undertaker.

I'm fine with it tbh. RR beating Taker just didn't feel right. I know the afterflow of the RR win, but it just didn't work out to their favor.

Would have made more sense for Cena to take out Taker, and then RR to beat Cena the following year.

Undertaker, please retire. And I don't mean this as an insult, I mean this in a "I don't want to watch your hip snap in half" way.

Less is more.
I like both of them, but this is really dumb if true. Literally had at least 3 years of Wrestlemanias to do this and they didn't, now the opportunity is gone. Let it go.

Cena would've been a far more interesting opponent for Taker than Reigns, Shane, or Wyatt. I'd also rather have had Cena vs. Taker instead of Brock vs. Taker, but whatever I know I'm probably in the minority there.
There's no need. Undertaker had the best retirement of any wrestler with the symbolic removal of his gear and the long walk back. One more match isn't worth it, even if it was the quality of the match he had against CM Punk a few years back.

The Punk match was pretty mediocre by the standards set by the streak matches just before it.

Batista of all people had a better streak match with Undertaker than Punk.

This saddens me, if you posted this before WM33 I would have been well up for this but with Reigns beating him and Taker looking sloppy in that match I can't get myself hyped for this match which I am quite gutted about tbh

You think that was due to Punk?

Punk even alluded to it in a promo, he said he's gonna have the match of the night even with it not being Hell in a Cell or a glorified no DQ match
Nobody want to see Taker kill himself in the ring. Just stay retired Taker.

Ehhh....Punk had a good match with Taker. This whole "streak match are supposed to be GREAT" nonsense didn't start to get really get overblown until WM 25.

I never saw the Batista matches. I have my doubts as to whether or not they could've been better, but I'll reserve judgement until I see them. I just used CM Punk as a reference because that was the last really good match the Undertaker had.

No he didn't. Terry Funk "retiring" is always a fallacy. Hence his next match will take place in two weeks.

This

Mania 30 would've been perfect, Streak vs Ace, and Taker could've gone out before his body was totally shot (and I'd have Taker go over and retire 22-0, but that's neither here nor there lol)

Honestly, ever since the streak ended I haven't see a good reason for Taker to step inside a WWE ring.

He lost to Brock which was a shock and he lost to Reigns in hopes of giving him some credibility, but it hasn't worked. Everyone thinks what Cena said, he beat an old man with a bad hip - which was a dig at Taker, so I could see how he can return to show everyone he still has it *clap, clap.. clap, clap, clap* .. I just wish he'd stay gone.
Luckyneog 1 day ago#49
They really shouldn't have had Brock end the streak he should have gone away still undefeated but no, wwe decided to mess things up in many ways. They should have at least have a passing of the torch storyline where instead of having the streak end he comes back looking for the next undertaker.
It ain't over till it's over, so until then i'm gonna take my time in finishing you off!!!
