then i recently noted that even intercontinental title was supposedly removed and bought back by austin, how the heck did that happened?

None of those were abandoned without explanation. The European and Hardcore titles were unified with the Intercontinental title and the World Heavyweight title was unified with the WWE title.

Abandoned without explanation would be the Cruiserweight Title. Vickie Guerrero stripped Hornswoggle of the belt and it sat vacant for months until it was quietly moved to the "retired championships" section on WWE.com.

When the first brand split happened Smackdown didn't have a midcard belt, so to balance things out they unified the Intercontinental Title with the World Heavyweight title so neither brand would have a midcard belt. Then about 9 months later they realized having no midcard title sucked so they brought back the IC title on Raw and debuted the US Title on Smackdown.

Mostly traditional stages, the occasional gimmick stage.

Tripler H's ego was out of control in 2002, that's how the IC title almost was killed forever. He wanted to be the only singles champion on the show.

Despite Brock Lesnar's issues with travel, I bet Triple H was the one who brought the WHC back just for him to be the top star of Raw, without Brock to duel with him. Remember how he was given the championship, when vacant titles are usually gained in tournaments or multi-man matches?

Triple H gave himself the belt just to get heat. He was a heel and it was to get heat, and apparently people are still worked to this day. I was 11 when it happened and even then I knew what it was.

i see, unifying to main heavy weight titles is understandable but the same should not apply to others like hardcore does not mix with intercontinental but European would

i wonder this is done for budget cuts

The hardcore title was NEVER supposed to become a real title. It was also a gimmick that ran its course. Same with the European title.

Marks dont get to decide which titles go with what.

wait... the light heavyweight, old cruiserweight, and new cruiserweight title aren't a combined lineage?

The light heavyweight title was unified with the crusierweight title.

The new crusierweight title is not part of that lineage.

Says people who like to throw the word devalue around. Brock gets title, devalued, Alexa gets title, devalued. I'm missing a few but these are ones people at large don't think of it as devalued but a few people on this board does.
If you believe in magic and I hope you don't, you always have somebody that will and won't :D.
it’s hilarious that these smart fans try to use words like devalued for a fake sport’s fake prop belt, talking about how titles should be f***ing gained when it’s all fake. they try to justify it with words dave meltzer says but they’re reason they don’t like it is because they got worked and they’re the biggest marks going

Titles don't mean s***. People buy tickets to watch WWE or their favorite wrestlers. Not to see if Jinder walks out champ

Initially? Absolutely. That's not the case now.
