Roman has spent the last year getting beat up by Braun and Brock and actually puts people over. No one gets over from feuding with Charlotte and I believe she's even more miscast as a face than Roman is.

I would agree if she didn't put on consistently great matches vs. Roman's finisher spamming, WWF on Dreamcast gameplay "storytelling."

Sure the crowd didn’t care when the match started, but that doesn’t mean they couldn’t have won the crowd over eventually during the match. No they didn’t. Roman and Brock literally took a shit in the ring. Brock has had good matches with Cena, Punk, Triple H, and Seth (during the triple threat, not 1v1), AJ, and Samoa Joe. Roman’s matches with Lesnar are near the bottom, no where near any of the matches I listed. If Roman was a good worker, the match would’ve been decent at least. Hell, if you want to make the excuse that Brock doesn’t even try, we can switch him out for the Triple H comparison. Out of all the new talent Triple H has worked with recently (Bryan, Ambrose, Reigns, Rollins, Rousey), the worst match and only one that was a dud, was with Reigns. Roman is a bad worker. Sorry if that offends you.

Unfortunately poor Ric needed surgery and they wanted to get Charlotte over as a heel so they had her banish him She never did get a proper face turn now that I think about it

She couldn't use her other arm for leverage because Asuka had worked it the whole match. So instead of just holding it in pain spot after spot that still has her using her arm, she removed the use of it from the finish altogether. God I fucking love you, THE QUEEN.

It truly baffles me when people pretend that Charlotte isn't one of the best female wrestlers they've got, and that she doesn't deserve the shit she's "handed" based on the strength of her performances alone.
Especially when those same people seemingly don't have a problem with Alexa Bliss getting handed fucking everything, despite the fact that she sucks as a wrestler.

Because putting someone over is supposed to elevate them for another program. Your examples seem to be "well, she lost against this person so they were put over". If so, your extreme bias in on display by shorthanding the amount of people Charlotte has "put over"

No one 'puts over,' anyone anymore unless it's an extreme situation like the Ellsworth and Styles Ladder match. |

That was one of the most super person finishes in a while.
Asuka has hardly had her legs worked over all match, Charlotte can't fully bridge for the figure 8, and Asuka taps fairly quickly.

I didn't mind Charlotte winning because after looking back...why exactly do we call Charlotte the "queen"? Whom has she beaten that gives her that mantle? A handful of matches with Botcha?
Tapping Asuka was a nice notch in her belt and solidifies her as a Queen with an actual significant victory. |
