Sports illustrated did a write up about it and had some more info.

NEW ORLEANS — Do not adjust your cell phone screen: Bruce Prichard and Conrad Thompson are coming to the WWE Network.

Prichard and Thompson, who host the popular Something to Wrestle with Bruce Prichard podcast, have come to terms with WWE for a new show, Something Else to Wrestle with Bruce Prichard, to debut later this month on the WWE Network.

“This feels like coming home,” said Prichard, who worked for WWE as a close associate to Vince McMahon for two decades. “I’m thankful to our audience, our listeners, who created this demand and buzz for the show, so much so that WWE came to us.”

Scheduled for 13 episodes, the show will not be produced by the WWE, nor will it replace the the Something to Wrestle podcast.

“We are committed to the fans who’ve been with us since the beginning,” said Thompson. “The number one talking point in our discussions with WWE was to make sure the podcast did not change. We won’t get away from what brought us here.”

As for the format of the Network show, the co-hosts will analyze and discuss a different topic from WWE history on each episode.

“We’ll mix it up with some new topics and ones that we will revisit from the past,” said Prichard. “Our first episode is going to be a brand new topic.”

The biggest change for Prichard and Thompson will be the transition to a video format instead of solely audio on the podcast.

“Our show is really tailor-made for audio, so it will be great to extend this journey into video,” said Thompson. “We never imagined that Brother Love and the ‘Mortgage Guy’ would be doing anything with WWE, much less on video. We’re excited for it, and it really is going to be something else.”

Prichard promised viewers a show unlike any other on the WWE Network.

“WWE only wants to have the best, and we are excited to be associated with the best,” said Prichard. “We’re not changing what we’re doing, we’re not changing how we do it, we are just doing it in more places so more people can enjoy what we do.”

He's not lying about it changing as he's always protected WWE's interest from the get go. You listen for the occasional stories and banter. Not for the BS Bruce spews.

I'll stick to Schiavone's podcast.

Even more info straight from Bruce himself from a Facebook live discussion about it:

- Episodes will be roughly 60-90 minutes long.

- They are not employees of WWE as they have extremely unique contracts that nobody else has.

- They are still gonna cuss and not censor themselves

- He is still gonna do impressions

- They are filming from their respective offices at their homes and it will go back and forth between them on the air.

- The first episode will be in the next couple weeks

- will be a new episode weekly

- Bruce is the only editor. WWE is not gonna edit or censor anything audio wise. They may add video in to add to what they are talking about but that's it.

- If they get good enough views of the show and WWE likes it, they'll let them do more than the 13 episodes ordered.

I love the show and can't wait for this. I liked Tony's at first, but when it became a ppv recap which it is strongly suggested you watch the ppv with them it's hard to do with time, plus having lived through them, most WCW ppvs are not that good.

But Something to Wrestle With has a great flow. And if they are doing it themselves, it should be ok.

Sounds like a perfect way for WWE to test the waters with more TV-MA content besides Camp WWE.

I'll probably give this a watch, but yeah. Tony is way better. I originally intended to keep listening to Something to Wrestle after Tony's launched but I just lost interest.

Bruce is a shill, him editing it is basically Vince editing it. I listen to his show and I'll watch this but let's not kid ourselves
Looks like his shilling and defending and dodging worked out.

When I sin I sin real good.
Now we just need them to let Conrad and Schiavone do alternate commentary on the WCW PPVs on the Network.

I have listened to every episode, and I think it's ridiculous to call Bruce a shill for WWE in it's current incarnation. He worked for the company for 30 years and was involved in many of the things people hate, so of course he's going to have a different perspective than the fan and dirtsheets. I think he's typically pretty honest about when things went bad and how that happened, and pretty quick to criticize even himself.

AND I think Conrad does a terrific job calling him out when he feels Bruce is giving him a BS answer.

The only thing he's shilling is mortgages and t-shirts....

They confirmed today that they are able to talk about Hulk Hogan and Benoit on the Network show.

Well yeah, if the narrative is that it's his show and his editing, just being featured on the network, then they should - in theory - be able to talk about whatever they want.

A lot of people feel he's a shill because he doesn't just bash the wwe. Given that Vince is one of his best friends, he has many friends that work there, he worked there in many positions for decades it's quite understandable. A lot of people have this idea in their head that the wwe is some evil empire and as soon as someone gets out they will bash and hate on the product nonstop. 95% of Bruce's experience with the wwe was positive and it was a dream job of his, naturally he's going to look at it fondly.

And he doesn't go out of his way to shit on people within the company, even if he were to have negative feelings towards some it's not like he wants to just burn bridges.

His podcast is one of the absolute best wrestling podcasts around and his stories are phenomenal.

I believe the following:

They do have freedom to talk about anything without WWE interference

They will do some things to prove that but if they go too far, Vince will cancel the show

Bruce is a shill, now that he's on the network, he will be treading even more lightly
