1 : Wrestlemania was the perfect place to do it and not some throwaway network pvp.
2: Charlotte Flair is the only women anywhere near her level and over enough as well. 3: The streak was horrible because it was basically who will job out to Asuka every week and there was no excitement or reason to care. Now that she doesn't have a a stupid streak wrapped around her neck the matches will be more exciting and people will care more.

I would have preferred if Charlotte cheated to win. She made Asuka tap out without even applying the Figure 8 in its entirety. But all this lead to the debut of the IIconics and Carmella's cash in. That segment had me smiling the entire way through

The way it was handled was awful. Horrible ending to that match.

It was handled wrongly. It should have been ended by someone they needed to get over, that's the entire point of a streak to boost someone up and then use it to boost someone else when it's time to end it.

Now Carmella can brag how she beat the woman that ended Asukas streak and took her just 1 move. I loved the match and was fine with Charlotte winning but if you're gonna end the streak it better be because Asuka is almost dead and can't physically fight anymore. Also a pin finish. Asuka giving up the steak isn't the same as her just unable to continue with a pin. Keeps Asuka badass like you won but it took everything to do it. |

Had Charlotte worked Asuka's leg over the course of the match then fine. At least that makes sense. Yet to have her tap so easily is just weak, then the after match stuff made no sense either. It was a dumb way to end the streak. Literally what Carmella did would have more impact and be more heelish if done to Asuka.
The way to get someone on Asuka's level is to let them end the streak. Pick literally anyone else on the roster as Charlotte got nothing from this.

Would rather have it happen at Backlash, I was fine with Charlotte being the one to end the streak but it should not have happened at WrestleMania, what is the point of having a winning streak that went over 2 years, only to have her bottle it when it REALLY matters at the biggest show of the year?

I have mixed feelings. I honestly kind of like Charlotte and I think she's a solid top name to have in the division, but I think Asuka could have (and should have) also been up there as well. If someone had to end Asuka's streak, I'd rather it be a hard fought match against someone like Charlotte than, say, a dirty win by Carmella or Alexa. But even still, Charlotte is already so established that she makes for a pretty boring choice to do it.
Supposedly Charlotte/ Ronda is a big match they're looking to do in the future, and that will probably be a good encounter. But assuming Ronda goes undefeated until then, I think undefeated Ronda vs undefeated Asuka would be a much more interesting match to build. Especially with how dominant Asuka has been. Charlotte/ Ronda will be a good match, I think, but Asuka/ Ronda would've been much more intense and exciting.
