jesus christ hes a neanderthal. too much? a fucking suplex on mats is too much for women? who was the poster trying to say jim wasnt fucking out of touch? if you want to bitch about the winner thats all fine with me I still dont agree with it but get out of here with that too much horse shit. it just goes to show why womens wrestling in the states took so long to become popular we have idiots like this preaching nonsense. I guess its not just vince who has backwards ass thinking.

but no jim has his finger on the pulse. he isnt out of touch at all.

I like listening to Cornette’s takes, even though I don’t agree with all of them. Yeah, he didn’t like that bump, although he didn’t have a problem with Gargano/Ciampa doing the exact same thing (he only didn’t like when they did it in the match - too early).

Considering his argument against the women doing it is that they don’t have enough fat on them to act as protection, then he should have issues with Gargano/Ciampa doing it.

Yea, I was going to say the same, it was one of the few match’s on the card he really liked (it was just that spot in general he didn’t like)

It doesn't matter. He still shouldn't say shit like "women shouldn't be doing that because I'm sexist".

I feel most people just blindly claim how out of touch he is without ever even bothering to hear him out most of the time. It's almost like a meme or something at this point. He praised Charlotte and Asuka very much and also many other modern day wrestlers/matches yet he's just completely written off by fans.

He wants wrestling to look a little more real and believable and not so silly, clean, smooth, and obviously choreographed. How terrible.

I bet you're a "sexist" as well because I'm very sure you get more upset when violence happens to women over men, right? Which makes you feel more uneasy watching between these two videos?

I bet you most people in this world, even all the crazy SJWs that want women to be treated the same as men, would find it hard to watch Asuka get the shit beat out of her like that than they would if he were to do that to any guy

Why are people bashing Cornette again? It is "sexist", but it isn't wrong. People, no matter who, still find it harder to watch women get beat up than men.

Out of touch is just an easy stick to beat Cornette with. I'd like to know who in wrestling does have their finger on the oulse though, because we do seem to get this complaint a lot.

See this with Lance Storm a lot too. His views are no good because he didn't draw (a contentious enough statement to begin with).

It's just what people do, not just on the internet but IRL too. If you can't coherently attack someone's argument, you attack them instead.

Full disclosure: I probably agree with Cornette about 90% of the time.

Jim Cornette's main criticism of matches is the pacing and having huge spots that should be like, THE END halfway through.

Lance Storm in the mid90s was crazy. He's tame now by comparison. He was overshadowed only by Bret Hart who obviously gets a few free passes because of what he was dealing with at the time.

What are these clowns who think he's talking about the C4 doing? Obviously not reading. He's talking about the vertical suplex onto the floor.

And yeah, Cornette is a misogynistic piece of shit. News at 11.

He didn't like it in the Gargano / Ciampa match either, so I don't know why you guys keep saying that he had no issue with it.

He called it an unnecessary risk to their spines and it was especially dumb, because it didn't even end the match.

Lol. TC is triggered because he puts modern day ideological political correctness over real biological differences between men and women. Jim Cornette is 100% correct.

Another thing about Bishoff - he has a David Lee Roth type thing going on. He's a smart guy and a capable of doing business guy but as soon as a few more lights go on around him than usual, he turns into the old person everybody was sick of in the first place. That might be the 1 thing he has in common aith that certain bunch of people he used to try so hard to be like.

That doesn't mean anything, people should be able to do what they wanna do no matter how crazy. By most people logic only men should be doing sports, not females.

Of course people should be able to do what they want to do but that doesn't make his statement inaccurate. And lol, nobody says women shouldn't play sports. Stop taking it to the extreme. However, if I say that there are certain things in sports that men can do that women should not do, that once again, is an accurate statement. Grow a pair and lose the delusion please.

Cornette hasn't so much been passed by on what goes on in the ring as much as lapped repeatedly and pelted with empty Sprite cans. He's stodgy as hell and it only gets worse as he gets older. Listening to him on in-ring stuff is comedy only, he's in "old man yells at cloud" territory.

He still knows how to do storyline builds and tells damned funny stories, though.

Nobody says is a false statement, there's people on this very board saying only women should be in bra and panty matches. There's plenty of people that were saying women shouldn't be fighting in UFC. Men physically can do more things easier than females, so saying they should not do when it's their damn body is backwards thinking. If they wanna get hurt let em.

Not sure what growing a pair has to do with this, but whatever.

I told you to grow a pair because you're talking like a bitch.

If an up and coming no name female UFC fighter wants to step into the ring with Brock Lesnar, would you cheer her on because "it's her body" or would you caution against it and think it's a bad idea?

Jim Cornette hates anything that isn't to do with his ideals, twice as much if it backfires so he can snake in and theorize it. Except when he creates the same idea and it bombs, then it's either the company not backing the full idea or the wrestler(s) not selling the idea. Screw that overzealous hypocrite, it's ironic that he hates Russo so much because the only thing that keeps him from being known as the mouthy manchild with a tennis racket that was more annoying than heelish has been his infamy for his dark obsession with Vince Russo, with like everything else about him is behind the times. It's 2018, hate new people.

The issue isn't the size.

Men generally have more muscle mass and fat than even the fittest women. And that was his main point in the interview.

Women don't have that cushioning to be taking those kinds of bumps.

He really does just want it to look less choreographed and more like a real fight. Just his opinion and not even a bad one. Just of the mindset that you can get over and not have to kill yourself or risk as much every single city you go to. This was mania week though so....

....either way, what's the argument because he liked both matches?

Maybe that's why I avoid talking politics, lol. Don't wanna get burned too bad. He said the sentence women shouldn't be doing that stuff because it's too much for them. How the fuck is that not sexist just because he enjoyed the rest of the match? Why should they have a restriction because they're women? Mustafa and Cedric did the same spot and they have no fat either.
