2013:
- The Wyatt Family (Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper & Erick Rowan) & The Shield (Dean Ambrose, Roman Reigns & Seth Rollins) Vs CM Punk, Daniel Bryan, Cody Rhodes, Goldust & The Uso’s (Jey Uso & Jimmy Uso) – Raw 18/11/2013 – 3 ½* - Really fun 12 man match leading into Survivor Series 2013, highly recommend for a fun rewatch as well as it foreshadows the future Wyatt/Shield matches.
2014:
- Daniel Bryan & Bray Wyatt Vs The Uso’s – Raw 13/01/2014 - This match isn’t the best, and honestly it’s pretty short but I thought I’d include it because of the post-match moment. To give a short review, The Wyatt Family had converted Bryaninto their family to be one with them, then two weeks after this Bryan would break away from the Family and lead into the biggest yes chant of all time from the whole arena in sync. If you don’t want to watch the full match, I’ve also linked the post-match segment from YouTube, right here.
- Bray Wyatt Vs Daniel Bryan - Royal Rumble 2014 - 4* - Probably one of the best non-Royal Rumble matches of all time. Following Daniel Bryans face turn after two weeks of Bryan being a cult member to Bray, they squared off and what starts 2014 off as a great year for wrestling in WWE. Also the week prior to this match it gave us this moment I’m honestly surprised this match doesn’t get brought up more for how great both these two work together. Something that really does confuse me about the fans backlash for the Rumble match later that night is that they wanted Bryan to be in the match – which is fair enough. But why did no one complain about Wyatt not being put in the match? I mean he wins this match – he earned a place in that match, but hey I’m just complaining and bitching now. Great match in both mens career, probably Wyatts best single match – highly recommend.
- The Wyatt Family (Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper & Erick Rowan) Vs The Shield (Dean Ambrose, Roman Reigns & Seth Rollins)– Elimination Chamber 2014 – 4 ¼* - This match was highly anticipated even since the NXT days in early 2013, may people were so hyped for it. So when the Wyatt Family debuted in WWE in mid-2013 people were waiting for initial match off between the two. After months of teasing it, the match finally came to fruition at Elimination Chamber. One of my favourite matches from 2014 wish they would’ve saved it for ‘Mania 30, instead of The Shield getting a 3 minute match against the New Age Outlaws & Kane – however it did lead to a face turn for them, and it did lead to a good Wyatt Vs Cena match.*
- The Wyatt Family (Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper & Erick Rowan) Vs The Shield (Dean Ambrose, Roman Reigns & Seth Rollins) – Raw 03/03/2014 – 4 ½* - Just like the first match, this match held up to expectations and showed us the ‘first split’ of The Shield but also lead to the boys growing stronger together.. Even if it was for a few more months. The riot-like Chicago crowd were super angry and wanted to ‘hijack’ the show in relation to the CM Punk/WWE scandal, but this match got the crowd to forget about all that and focus on these two great teams.
- Bray Wyatt Vs John Cena – Wrestlemania 30 – 3 ½* - This Wrestlemania (and more the following Wrestlemania) helped usher in a new era of wrestlers who came from WWE’s developmental territory – NXT. One of the biggest stars from NXT was Bray Wyatt, who’s character is a ‘scary cult leader’. The WWE trusted him so much they placed him in a feud against the biggest star of the modern-era John Cena. Many people were disappointed with the result of this match, but lets not take it away from either man, this is a really fun match. Wyatt tries the whole match to try make Cena ‘join the darkside’ and turn heel and do things he usually wouldn’t. The crowd participation of singing and waving their arms to the tune of ‘He’s got the whole world in his hands’ also is a great little touch for this match.
- Bray Wyatt Vs John Cena Vs Kane Vs Randy Orton Vs Sheamus Vs Roman Reigns Vs Alberto Del Rio Vs Cesaro – Money in the Bank 2014 – 4* - Wyatt entered the main-event picture scene when Daniel Bryan had to relinquish the WWE World Heavyweight Championship due to an injury. In 2014, they decided to throw all their main stars into this match to put on a spectacle to decide who will become the new WWE World Heavyweight Championship. This was also the start of the Roman Reigns single run push in WWE. Instead of going for his ‘evil brother’ Seth Rollins for turning his back on him, he turned to the WWE World Heavyweight Championship picture, and fighting with the Authority. He would have two attempts at the Championship within a month, but unfortunately came up short on both occasions. I wonder how people would’ve reacted if he had won the title at this point in his career if people would still be as harsh on him.
- Bray Wyatt Vs Chris Jericho – Raw 08/09/2014 – 3 ½* - A very fun steel-cage match to end their feud with each other. I feel like no one really appreciates this feud, and doesn’t appreciate Jericho putting over Bray Wyatt when he really needed it coming off his loss against John Cena.
2015:
- Bray Wyatt Vs The Undertaker – Wrestlemania 31 - 2 ¾* - Coming off his feud with Ambrose, Bray Wyatt would week-after-week cut ambiguous ‘spooky’ promos about him being the new face of fear and call out the Undertaker without specifically naming him. Then at the Fastlane PPV Bray Wyatt made an unscheduled surprise appearance when the druids (usually associated with The Undertaker) brought out a casket to which it was revealed that Undertaker was inside. This would mark the official challenge for Wrestlemania, the same place that The Undertaker had lost at for the first time in 21 years the previous year. The match was alright, Wyatt had reportedly injured his ankle prior to the match – Undertaker looked better than last year but still relatively slow. I still think Wyatt could’ve won this match, but I’m a big believer that Wyatt could’ve faced Triple H at that’s years Wrestlemania marking a face turn for Wyatt following a ‘down with the machine’ storyline and Sting could’ve faced Undertaker the dream match that had been talked about for years.
- Bray Wyatt Vs Roman Reigns – Hell in a Cell 2015 – 3 ¾* - This long feud went for 5 months, and came to a final encounter inside the Devil’s playground – Hell in a Cell. This is a very underrated feud between two decent modern day WWE Superstars, and arguably the two leaders of their individual groups – The Wyatt Family & The Shield. I really enjoyed where this program went, the whole ‘anyone but you Roman’ angle was done very well, it went along with how the crowd felt about Roman.
- Bray Wyatt & Luke Harper Vs The Undertaker & Kane – Survivor Series 2015 – 3* - This was Undertaker's 25 anniversary at Survivor Series, not the greatest match, but still good to see him and his brother face the evil team of the Wyatt's.
2016:
- The Wyatt Family (Bray Wyatt, Braun Strowman & Erick Rowan) Vs The New Day (Big E, Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods) - Battleground 2016 – 3 ¼* - I’m surprised many people don’t discuss this match when talking about the Wyatt Family/The New Day in 2016. I personally loved this match and expected it to have a higher rating. I really enjoyed the ‘Wyatt Compound’ segment as well, even if it was a copy of what Broken Matt Hardy was doing. I also was a bit confused why when Wyatt returned form injury he didn’t return a face like he was but oh well, someday soon he’ll turn face.
- Bray Wyatt Vs Dolph Ziggler Vs John Cena Vs Apollo Crews Vs AJ Styles Vs Baron Corbin - Smackdown 26/07/2016 - This was yet another time that WWE, would pull the trigger on Dolph Ziggler and give him a shot being a top star on WWE. The first main-event of the ‘New Era of Smackdown’ had to start with a memorable one and what better way then putting 6 of the best superstars on the roster into this match.
- Team Smackdown (Bray Wyatt, Dean Ambrose, Randy Orton, Shane McMahon & AJ Styles Vs Team Raw (Braun Strowman, Chris Jericho, Kevin Owens, Roman Reigns & Seth Rollins) - Survivor Series 2016 - 4 ½* - For the first time since 2005, the Survivor Series was built strongly around ‘Smackdown Vs Raw’ as all matches bar the main event featured a Brand Vs Brand match. This match was arguably one of the best Survivor Series tag-team matches of all time and was absolutely not predictable, as it featured some of the biggest names in WWE in 2016. This match was one of the many, many great matches from 2016. It’s good that WWE trusted Bray Wyatt to be one of the soul survivors for his team and allow him to get the victory for his team.
- Bray Wyatt & Randy Orton Vs Heath Slater & Rhyno – TLC 2016 -1 ¾* - This would be Wyatt’s first taste of a championship in his almost 7 year career in the WWE. The Wyatt/Orton storyline prior to their match at Wrestlemania was a lot of fun with Orton ‘joining’ the Wyatts, it’s a shame their Wrestlemania match was such a shamble, and that people didn’t enjoy their rematch in a House of Horrors match.
2017:
- Bray Wyatt Vs AJ Styles Vs Baron Corbin Vs Dean Ambrose Vs John Cena Vs The Miz – Elimination Chamber 2017 – 4 ½* - As a long-time Bray Wyatt fan this match felt so damn rewarding. He puts on a great show and works well with everyone in this match, this is arguably one of my favorite Chamber matches in the last couple years. Everyone plays their roles perfectly, the on-going AJ/Cena story-line is fun, Corbin being a wild-man in the match is fun and Ambrose as well as Miz help make a perfect formula for this Chamber Match. It really shows that 6 of the top Smackdown guys really fit that part and it’s one of the reasons why WWE, or Smackdown has been one of the most fun shows to watch in recent memory.
- Bray Wyatt Vs AJ Styles Vs John Cena – Smackdown Live 14/02/2017 – Wyatt’s first challenge for his WWE Championship would be against both AJ Styles & John Cena who both used their rematch clauses for the Championship. Wyatt put on a great performance with both individual, and even got a special treatment of actually pinning John Cena, as to which John said audibly something along the lines of ‘You’re the true champ now’. I really wish this match happened at the Wrestlemania with maybe Orton as well as replacement, or fourth addition in this match.
- Bray Wyatt Vs Finn Balor Vs Samoa Joe – Raw 29/05/2017 – The most recent match on this list actually only happened a week ago, it showed Bray Wyatt face both Finn Balor and Samoa Joe for the first time in a triple threat match. I can’t wait til he faces them both in individual matches, and has long drawn out feuds with both men.
