1999:
- Edge & Christian Vs Jeff Hardy & Matt Hardy – No Mercy 1999 - Ladder Match – 4 ½* - One of the earliest tag-team ladder matches in WWF, a lot of people forget about this match being the precursor to those Ladder/TLC Matches with each other plus the Dudley’s in the future. It’s a really good match which helped in the careers in all four men.
2000:
- Edge & Christian Vs Jeff Hardy & Matt Hardy Vs Bubba Ray Dudley & D-Von Dudley – Wrestlemania 2000 - Triangle Ladder Match – 4* - These men set the standard for all ladder matches. This would be the first clash together in a 3-team ladder match but not their last.
- Edge & Christian Vs Jeff Hardy & Matt Hardy Vs Bubba Ray Dudley & D-Von Dudley – Summerslam 2000 - Tables, Ladders & Chairs Match – 4 ½* - Remember earlier when I said that these six men set the standard for the ladder match? Well these guys now set the standard for a Tables, Ladders and Chairs match as well. Brutal, fast paced with well timed-spots very fun match. This was just a tease of what we could see with these 6 competitors.
2001:
- Edge & Christian Vs Jeff Hardy & Matt Hardy Vs Bubba Ray Dudley & D-Von Dudley – Wrestlemania 17 - Tables, Ladders & Chairs Match – 4 ¾* - We’re back again with these six men, and you might think by this time it’s the same old thing, they can’t top what they did last time. But that’s what they did. They topped it yet again. This is my favourite match from this Wrestlemania; it’s just so brutal and fun to watch. Arguably a 5-star match to a lot of people and it really helps that its on one of the best PPV’s of all time.
- Edge & Christian Vs Jeff Hardy & Matt Hardy Vs Bubba Ray Dudley & D-Von Dudley Vs Chris Benoit & Chris Jericho – Smackdown 24/05/2001 - Tables, Ladders & Chairs Match – 4 ¾*
2002:
- Edge Vs Kurt Angle – Judgment Day 2002 – Hair Match - 4 ½* - If you’ve ever wondered how Kurt Angle went from a short hair male man to a bald hair male man – than this is the match you need to see, as it was contested in a Hair Vs. Hair Match. These two had excellent chemistry with each other and absolutely killed their feud with each other in 2002 whether that’d be singles or tag-team action. Personally, I love their series of matches with each other in 2002.
- Edge Vs Kurt Angle – Smackdown 28/05/2002 – Steel Cage Match - 4*
- Edge Vs Chris Jericho – Smackdown 25/07/2002 - Steel Cage Match – 4*
- Edge Vs Eddie Guerrero – Smackdown 29/08/2002 - No Disqualification Match – 4 ½* - This feud is very underrated I rarely see people discuss it, they put on excellent matches with each other and this one is probably their best one – they compete in a hellacious No Disqualification on Smackdown.
- Edge & Rey Mysterio Vs Chris Benoit & Kurt Angle – No Mercy 2002 – 4 ¾* - This was the final match in the tournament for the Smackdown Tag Team championships quite frankly its one of the best matches from the Smackdown brand in 2002. The mix of these four wrestlers styles works so good with each other, the endless possibilities of what they could do with each other is unfathomable. If you’re watching for the first time it’s very hard to pick who will win this match, highly recommend. It may have only involved 4 out of the 6 ‘Smackdown Six’ but it just goes to show how great each person was. This is a perfect 5 star match for me.
- Edge & Rey Mysterio Vs Chris Benoit & Kurt Angle – Smackdown 07/11/2002 – Two out of Three Falls Match - 4*
2003:
2004:
2005:
- Edge Vs Triple H Vs Batista Vs Chris Benoit Vs Chris Jericho Vs Randy Orton – New Years Revolution 2005 – Elimination Chamber Match - 4 ¼* - The big story going into this match was would Batista be loyal to his fellow Evolution member Triple H, or would he break off on his own and try capture the World Heavyweight championship. Bonus information: Shawn Michaels who had problems with everyone in this match would be special guest referee. This would help advance the ongoing Edge/Michaels feud.
- Edge Vs Chris Benoit Vs Chris Jericho Vs Christian Vs Kane Vs Shelton Benjamin – Wrestlemania 21 – Money in the Bank Ladder Match - 4 ½* - This match is fairly Significant as it is the first Money in the Bank match in WWE history, which featured 6 of Raws best mid-card talent at the time, but also significant in the career of Edge because it helped skyrocket him to become one of the top guys in the company for a couple of years.
- Edge Vs Chris Benoit – Backlash 2005 – Last Man Standing Match - 4*
- Edge Vs Matt Hardy – Unforgiven 2005 – Steel Cage Match - 4 ¼* - This match was as personal as it gets, it involved real-life incidents; Lita (who was partners with Matt) getting with his friend Edge whilst he was off the road. This is a really good steel cage match between the two.
2006:
- Edge Vs Ric Flair – Raw 16/01/2006 – Tables, Ladders & Chairs Match - 4*
- Edge Vs Mick Foley – Wrestlemania 22 – Hardcore Match - 4* - The match that helped really solidify Edge as one of the A+ players in WWE at this time. Foley six years after retiring comes back for a match with the Rated R Superstar, in one of the best hardcore matches ever.
- Edge Vs John Cena – Unforgiven 2006 – Tables, Ladders & Chairs Match - 4 ¼* - Two years before this match when Edge was in Toronto, he was booed as a baby face, fast-forward to this match he was cheered as the most despise able heel. The culmination of the feud between him and Cena was in place as the faced each other in a Tables, Ladders and Chairs match. This match really meant a lot to Edge, as you can see as they’re doing the introductions he’s trying hard not to be an emotional wreck when the home-town crowd cheer and applaud him.
2007:
- Edge Vs Shawn Michaels – Raw 22/01/2007 – Street Fight - 4*
- Edge Vs Mr. Kennedy Vs CM Punk Vs Finlay Vs Jeff Hardy Vs King Booker Vs Matt Hardy Vs Randy Orton – Wrestlemania 23 – Money in the Bank Ladder Match - 4 ¼* - One of the most loved Money in the Bank Ladder Matches with plenty of great spots including one with Edge & Jeff Hardy which helped innovated what you can do in a ladder match in the modern era.
- Edge Vs Randy Orton Vs Shawn Michaels Vs John Cena – Backlash 2007 – 4 ½* - Following Wrestlemania 23 it left multiple people wanting a shot at John Cena for his WWE Championship, and thus three men were awarded the opportunity for it; Cena’s Wrestlemania opponent Shawn Michaels, and former tag team Rated RKO, Edge and Randy Orton. Four outstanding talents that mash well together, perform in one of the best four ways of all time.
- Edge Vs Randy Orton – Raw 30/04/2007 – 4 ¼* - The night following Backlash, these two men faced off against each other in rescheduled match on Raw. Significant because it was one of the rare occasions a Heel faced off against another Heel, and really goes to show how much both men have improved over the last 2-3 years.
- Edge Vs Chris Benoit – Smackdown 05/06/2007 – 4* - In the time period of 2006 through 2008 it really helped Edge become a big player in WWE, and as you can see by all the matches that have been listed/will be listed that people enjoyed his matches a lot. This is one of Chris Benoit’s last matches before his controversial incident. But lets not take it away from either man, because this is also one of his best matches in WWE. These two could’ve main evented many ppvs for the World Heavyweight Championship that year, such a shame.
2008:
- Edge Vs Undertaker – Wrestlemania 24 – 4 ¼* - This was the main event of Wrestlemania 24, an almost year long feud between Undertaker and Edge, and now finally they’d have a one on one match at the biggest stage of them all. This would be their first match in their feud, but it’s nothing short of amazing. It’s really good to see over the years Edge grow from a tag-team wrestler into this great single performer going one on one with one of the best of all time – The Undertaker.
- Edge Vs Undertaker – Summerslam 2008 – Hell in a Cell Match - 4 ½* - This was the culmination of The Undertaker & Edge feud. This feud started back in May of 2007 and ended in August 2008. Undertaker was allowed to return to WWE and in doing so it was announced that he would face Edge one last time. This time it would be in Undertakers favourite match, the devils play ground Hell in a Cell.
- Edge Vs Jeff Hardy Vs Triple H – Armageddon 2008 – 4* - Jeff Hardy’s rise to being WWE Champion was an enthralling story in 2008. In January that year he was placed in a WWE Championship match with Randy Orton, but had lost. Then throughout the rest of the year he was in multiple WWE Championship matches.. Which he lost? Until Armageddon, in which is one of the best triple threat matches of all time and totally made it worth being a Jeff Hardy fan.
2009:
- Edge Vs Jeff Hardy Vs Big Show Vs Triple H Vs The Undertaker Vs Vladimir Kozlov - No Way Out 2009 - Elimination Chamber Match - 4 ¼*
- Edge Vs Chris Jericho Vs John Cena Vs Kane Vs Mike Knox Vs Rey Mysterio - Elimination Chamber 2009 - Elimination Chamber Match 4 ¼* - Edge would become the first and only person to date to enter both Elimination Chambers in the same night. He may have been eliminated from the first one within 5 minutes resulting him in losing his WWE Championship, however he would attack Kofi Kingston and take his spot in the World Heavyweight Championship Chamber match – and win.
- Edge Vs John Cena - Backlash 2009 – Las Man Standing Match - 4 ½*
- Edge Vs Jeff Hardy – Extreme Rules 2009 – Ladder Match - 4 ¼* - This match is a great Ladder match with two of the greatest wrestlers when it comes to Ladder Matches. Also make sure to stay after the match finishes for a surprise.
2010:
- Edge Vs The Miz Vs Chris Jericho Vs Evan Bourne Vs John Morrison Vs Mark Henry Vs Randy Orton Vs Ted DiBiase Jr. - Money in the Bank 2010 – Money in the Bank Ladder Match - 4*
- Edge Vs Alberto Del Rio Vs Kane Vs Rey Mysterio – TLC 2010 – Tables, Ladders & Chairs Match - 4 ¼* - This match had four of WWE’s best Smackdown talent in one match, which also included new superstar Alberto Del Rio in the main event. It is significant because not only is it Kane’s last defence is his stellar run in 2010, but because it is Edge’s last World Heavyweight Championship win. (No I don’t include that Smackdown where he was stripped of it at the start and gained it at the end of the show.)
2011:
- Edge Vs Drew McIntyre Vs Kane Vs Rey Mysterio Vs Big Show Vs Wade Barrett – Elimination Chamber 2011 - Elimination Chamber Match – 4 ¼*
Honourable Mentions:
- Edge Vs Jeff Jarrett - WWF House Show 24/07/1999 - Edge's first championship win in WWF, as an extra bonus listen to him commentate the match.
- Edge & Christian Vs Matt Hardy & Jeff Hardy – Unforgiven 2000 - Steel Cage Match
- Edge Vs Kurt Angle – King of the Ring 2001 - Edge wins the Annual King of the Ring Tournament.
- Edge Vs Christian – No Mercy 2001 - Ladder Match - Two former best friends (or brothers at the time) were competing for the Intercontinental Championship match. This was a match everyone was excited to see, they wanted to see how these two men would go in single runs. Much like all the other ladder matches involving these men, they are instant classics.
- Edge Vs Triple H Vs Chris Benoit – Raw 29/11/2004 - One of the final Raws for 2004 saw these three men wrestle for the World Heavyweight Championship. It’s a very well done triple threat match, with a fabulous laid out draw finish. I’ve always held this match in high regard it’s worth the watch. This match would lead into the Elimination Chamber at New Years Revolution, which you can read on my other list.
- Edge Vs Shawn Michaels – Raw 28/02/2005 - Street Fight
- Edge Vs Matt Hardy – Raw Homecoming - Money in the Bank Ladder Match
- Edge Vs John Cena – New Years Revolution 2006 - Significant as it the first cash in ever, and would change how most people would see Edge for years to come. Living up to the name ‘The Ultimate Opportunist’ Edge would cash in after Cena competed in a Elimination Chamber match.
- Edge Vs Undertaker – Smackdown 11/05/2007 - Edge would become the first person to successfully cash in his Money in the Bank briefcase to become World Champion. This cash in would take months for pay off and really this feud would go on from May 2007 until August 2008.
- Edge Vs Undertaker – One Night Stand 2008 - Tables, Ladders & Chairs Match - These two put on one of the best one-on-one Tables, Ladders and Chairs matches of all time. It’s a shame that it only gets a 3 and a half stars, to me it’s closer to 4 and a half, I guess that’s why Meltzers ratings are just a base of what his opinion is, and you should make your own up. I love this match. If anyone has access to this show where Meltzler talks about this match I’d love to read it/listen to it. I might be a bit biased with this match, but this is my favourite TLC match after the TLC matches with the Hardy’s, E&C and the Dudley’s. This is Edge’s speciality and you can damn well tell he’s aware of his ring awareness in this match, clever spots good action. There’s so much emotion in this match, if Undertaker lost he would be ‘banished from WWE’. Having La Famigla also run out and try cost Undertaker the match only to be one-by-one picked off also adds to this match. In my top 5 non-Wrestlemania Undertaker matches.
- Edge Vs Jeff Hardy Vs CM Punk – Raw 15/06/2009 - The three top players of Smackdown at the time were on Raw to showcase their abilities in a triple threat match for the World Heavyweight Championship. On a personal note I would’ve loved a CM Punk vs Edge feud.
- 30-Man Royal Rumble Match – Royal Rumble 2010 - Edge would return from injury in this match and successfully win the match and enter one of the main events for Wrestlemania 26.
- Edge Vs Dolph Ziggler – Royal Rumble 2011 - This would be one of Edge’s last matches before retirement, and it is also one of his best single matches. It shows Dolph Zigglers rise as to one of the veterans in the company and also shows all his strong points. I really wish that this match was saved for Wrestlemania instead of Del Rio/Edge.
- Edge Vs Alberto Del Rio – Wrestlemania 27 - I believe this is Edge's final match in WWE before retiring due to neck injuries, and what a way to go out as World Heavyweight Champion on the biggest stage in wrestling - Wrestlemania.
