Well, I'm just saying. I didn't want Corbin to be champ though. I don't think he's ready. Then again, neither is Jinder.

That's gotta make you feel like s***. The chances of holding MITB are usually pretty good for you winning the title down the road. So for Vince to decide that you're going to fail your cash in says a lot, IMO.

Or.... Jinder could just, you know, get himself DQ'd.

Then they could actually build a feud between the two.

Now currently waiting for the announcement on wwe.com that Corbin has been suspended for 30 days.

I don't get why everyone in the industry was hot on Corbin. He's not scary, kinda dorky really, but worst of all he's boring.

And they said he could face Taker at WM? Come on...

Then again, it could be that they're using the case to add some fuel for a proper Baron/Cena feud. Prior to this, Baron/Cena at Summerslam just screams of filler.

Cena is off to Raw immediately after Summerslam.

But it was over early for him to win the bit one. They did the right thing.

I don't mind Corbin, but I'm fine with last night. I think there should be way more than 3 failures with cash-ins, it's gotten way too predictable. Now there's no lingering thoughts of the title match being pointless because Corbin will cash-in.

Honestly I think they should stop MITB for a few years, let it be missed and all that. The only new thing really to do with it is have a champion hold it.

I'm fairly neutral to all of this. I'm not really a Corbin fan, but I don't think he's terrible, and I think he's improved a bit from his early NXT days (though he still needs some work, most notably his combo of mic skills and personality). When it was rumored earlier this year that they planned on having Corbin get into the title scene this summer/ fall, I was kind of like "Meh...", and when he won MitB, it seemed like a certainty. And when they gave Shinsuke the title match for SS, as a Nakamura fan, I was like "It'd be awesome if Nakamura wins the belt, but he'll probably just drop it quickly to Corbin via cash in".

So, I'm hoping Nakamura gets a title win and a decent run with the belt, and that Corbin continues working on improving.

The thing that I always questioned about Corbin is his attitude. I don't know how much of it was kayfabe, but when they did that Breaking Ground show, he came off as someone who's very entitled, who gets pissy when he doesn't get his way. Again, perhaps that show was 100% kayfabe, but if that's how he actually is, I feel like that could be problematic for him, and I almost wonder if they're purposely "testing" him to see how he reacts to his push being taken away. If he throws a hissy fit and starts phoning it in, he's going to f*** himself over.

I have no idea why they even called him up. He could have used an NXT title run and he most certainly wasn't ready to be champion or even for the main roster at all.

Corbin wasn't ready for a title shot at all. But since the WWE had already went there anyway by giving him the MITB briefcase, they should have went all in on it. Because otherwise, what's the point of giving it to him?

But instead the WWE make both themselves and Corbin's character look like complete idiots.

I understand there is a certain extent for spontaneity. I understand the concept of occasionally doing something to surprise people.

However, there's a fine line between a logical genuine surprise, and something that surprises and catches people off guard because it's so f***ing stupid and pointless. This falls into the latter.

Why would you waste the MITB briefcase five days away from SummerSlam?

Some people may say 'oh, it's part of a story so just wait to see how it plays out!', but we've been down that path with many of the WWE's stupid decisions before. 9.9 times out of 10 there is no ulterior, grandiose, brilliant plan for it. It's just the WWE being stupid.

Just having actually watched SD, I don't get why anyone thinks they'll give Corbin the case back due to Jinder's foot being under the rope. For one, that was a "blink and you'll miss it" thing, and nobody made mention of it or played it up on commentary. If WWE were to do something like that, they telegraph the s*** out of it, and make sure it's blatantly obvious.
