- According to a report at Sportskeeda, Enzo Amore will be suspended in a shark cage high above the ring this Sunday at SummerSlam because...he is afraid of heights.

It is no secret that Enzo has ongoing issues backstage with writers, fellow wrestlers and even management apparently does not take him seriously. The report goes on to say that with all this backstage heat, putting him in a shark cage knowing that he is afraid of heights is WWE's way of discreetly punishing him for his indiscretions.

Doubt this is true...if someone has a legitimate fear of heights, the company cannot force him into something like this.

No way. If Enzo can prove in the slightest that he has a fear of heights and that the company is aware of it, that's an easy lawsuit right there. As a publicly traded company, they aren't bringing that onto themselves.

It's Vince Mcmahon.... this is the same guy who laughs like a maniac when he pushes people into pools (seriously, in an interview he did about a year ago, he said that the funniest thing to him is to push people into pools when they are NOT expecting it and when they are fully clothed since the look on their faces as they are falling cracks him up. Vince Mcmahon is a 12 year old on Ritalin stuck is a 71 year old's body).

Except Enzo did a spot at Wrestlemania where he was thrown off a ladder, which is pretty much the same height as the shark cage. So either this story is bulls*** and Enzo doesn't have acrophobia (most likely), or he does have acrophobia but there's already evidence of him willing to do spots involving heights despite it, so all Jerry McDevitt would have to do is walk into court, play that clip and say "He agreed to do that" and there'd be plenty enough reasonable doubt to have Enzo's case thrown out.

That said, I don't see how this is unbelievable (aside from the aforementioned fact that Enzo's done heights-related spots before). I could definitely see Vince and others within WWE thinking that putting an acrophobic person in a shark cage would be hilarious.

Vince said that on Stone Cold's podcast.
Austin asked him about pushing folks in the pool.
Vince gets a look on his face and he slows down considerably and starts savouring every word, gesturing with his hands absolutely relishing the thought of something as simple as someone falling in a pool..... someone that he pushed because he thinks the funniest thing in the world is the look on someone's face right before they fall into the pool.
So yes, Vince Mcmahon is a 12 year old on Ritalin stuck is a 71 year old's body and I 100% believe Vince is putting Enzo in the cage to legit punish him.

Vince McMahon Loves Throwing People in the Pool
"This was probably the most interesting thing that came out of the Stone Cold Steve Austin podcast with Vince McMahon. Vince McMahon loves throwing people in the pool. And not like a normal love, but a love so pure that he would leave his wife for it. He was fairly serious through the entire interview, but when he got to talk about throwing people in the pool, his entire demeanor changed, as if the mere thought of throwing someone in the pool put him in his happy place."

"Vince McMahon has the worst sense of humor"

These people DO realize that they are hardcore wrestling fans, right? Maybe they should think of the subject of their journalistic pieces and realize that MAYBE individual tastes in entertainment are quite subjective and vary wildly from person to person.

With that said, reading s*** like that only makes me like Vince more. Not only do I think people take his s*** way too seriously, but it really does show that he's just a normal dude (in terms of not acting like a stuffy douche-f*** of a millionaire like a lot of his ilk probably behave like) like you or I in the very end. Plus, the dude is in his f***ing 70's. The s*** he finds funny is way more humorous than a lot of what people his very age find funny, when you really think about it.

Besides, have y'all seen the overrated to f***ing hell "DX in New York" segment? If y'all think Vince's humor is bad, just wait until HHH is running the show. Keep in mind that Vince has ALWAYS had a way easier time poking fun at himself than Triple H has ever had. Hell, Mr. "King of Kings" himself is pushing 50 and he STILL shows tendencies of taking himself just a tad too seriously.

Just face it, y'all don't know what y'all have until it's gone. Once Vince passes, I GUARANTEE you all that y'all be like "WWE was WAAAYYYY better & more fun when Vince was around!!".

And given y'all's flip-flopping regarding y'all's dictatorship/hipster complexes around here, it won't shock me at all when that eventually happens.

If he has a legitimate heights phobia, then this is really, really f***ed up. Reason being is that I started with a small case of claustrophobia until I got stuck in a jam packed elevator with 30 people (couldn't move it was so jam packed) 2.5 years ago. I had a full blown panic attack. And now I cannot be even in a middle seat on a flight. I need medication, too. Mentally I know that it's irrational but my body doesn't care. It's a horrible, horrible thing. And uncontrollable when it happens. If Enzo has a legitimate fear of heights but has never experienced a panic attack from one and has his first during Summerslam? That s*** would be a nightmare.

I hope this is all fake.
